Happy Valentine’s Day!! With the day of LOVE upon us, we wanted to give you some inspiration to help you get creative with your wedding colour palette and mood board. A wedding isn’t just created from a pantone colour, there are a range of materials, textures, shapes, scents and tastes that come together to create he perfect wedding! Our Pinterest board – Be my Valentine, be my Love, brings together all these elements and more! We hope to open your mind to some different ways of creating your dream style and design.
Being the month of love we decided to work with hearts! this shape has a strong frame but warming soft edges. What more romantic way to incorporate love at your wedding! Wedding favours, name tags, floral features are just a handful of ways to bring your shaping to life.
You need to choose a mixture of complimenting materials for different aspects of your set-up. Your venue should help determine your base. We have chosen to use raw, natural muted tones as a base colour and texture suited to this rustic relaxed style.
Some really cute ways to tie in your theme and colour is with drinks, treats and desserts. Heart shaped brownies would be a lovely compliment served along with tea and coffee. A raspberry ice cream prosecco could be an original welcome drink and a light and refreshing strawberry mousse dessert! Scrumptious!
This isn’t something always considered when planning your wedding but what better way to indulge your guests than with wonderful scents that will last in their memories. A cute and colourful wedding favour of berry scented soap would look perfect on each place setting. A luxury Diptyque candle would provide hours of fragrance and with their simple classic designs could look very chic on your wedding tables. And of course your flower centrepieces! Add some of these divine garden roses to your beautiful table scape and the subtle scent will fill the air!
